Similar to the June trip, The Fellowship of 4Lo’s return will include plenty of off-road shenanigans and Fall camp vibes. The group will be limited to mid-size trucks, SUVs, and Jeeps.
This is a free event, so you are responsible for park and camping fees.
This is a Class 4 event but guidelines for Class 3 may be adequate depending on experience.
Class 3: Intermediate Off-road Adventures
Trail Difficulty: Moderate challenges, including rocky sections, moderate water crossings, mud, or steeper and off-camber terrain
Activities: Off-roading focused with skill-building opportunities
Camping: Primitive, dispersed, or remote
Vehicle: Recommended minimum 33” AT tires, light armor, recovery gear with front and rear recovery points
Driver Experience: You’ve graduated the school of overlanding and want more out of life
Class 4: Advanced Technical Off-roading
Trail Difficulty: Technical sections, large rocks, deep water crossings, or steep inclines and off-camber terrain with the potential for rollovers
Activities: OHV parks or public trails. Challenging and extreme off-roading with skill-building opportunities
Camping: Primitive, dispersed, potentially very remote
Vehicle: Modified rigs with full armor, 2”+ lifts and 34” or larger tires, winch, lockers, and advanced recovery gear
Driver Experience: A hardened trail junkie and experienced spotter
